Popular therapeutic plant macerated in a carrier oil that supports and may help maintain a healthy immune system.
Latin Name: Echinacea purpurea
Origin: Eastern/Central North America
Echinacea has been shown to stimulate natural interferon production and greatly enhances the immune system, and therefore the resistance to many common bacteria and viruses (especially coughs, colds and influenza).
It can also be used to help heal wounds, particularly leg ulcers and bedsores if used immediately after cleansing the wound.
The macerated oil will keep for 2 years in a cool, dark place.
